Sneak Peek

I intended to blog about this cake all weekend, but daily life got in the way. Then our guest bathroom sprung a leak, which resulted in a few trips to The Home Depot, mold removal, and the demolition of the walls surrounding the tub. Thankfully, Mr. H has done most of the work himself and now we're just waiting on the plumber. I didn't do any of the dirty work, but I feel badly sitting on my butt "playing" on the computer while he's working so hard. I uploaded the pictures and now I just have to type out the recipe. While you patiently wait for another day or two, here's a picture to hold you over.

Hmm....I'm not sure I can wait! Don't feel guilty, you're doing very important work as you sit on your butt!

haha I thought this was going to be a picture of the baby! The cake looks yummy too though!

(and I totally feel your guilt for "sitting around" while your hubby works. I am in school and spend the majority of my time at home working on homework, so I appear to be "sitting around" alot while my boy cleans/cooks/is amazing, but I promise I am really working!!!)

Well, be thankful that Sam knows how to do all those things, that you all have the resources to get a plumber to do the rest, that you have a bambino on the way, and that you have the ability to make yummy desserts mientras tanto even though some are filled with (yucky) nuts! LOL!! I'm glad you're resting. Don't feel bad about it. I'm sure Sam isn't bothered by it.
